Welcome to my blog! This is my first ever blog I made. It will be about Christmas. Christmas day is on the 25th of December. It's a day that children like. They get presents from Santa.
In Poland we get presents on the 24th of December - Christmas Eve. We get them when the first star shows upon the night sky. We go outside to look for the first star and finally when it shows up we go back inside and the presents are already under the Christmas tree. We have our traditional supper on Christmas Eve. It's a day without meat so we will always have a fish - Carp or Herrings. We also eat dumplings stuffed with mushroom and cabbage. We drink plum compote. As a soup we have our traditional beetroot soup or rosol (vegetable broth with noodles). In many houses for a treat we have gingerbread biscuits which we make, cut out and decorate with the whole family even 2 weeks before Christmas.
